Does my billing and shipping addresses have to match?
For fraud protection purposes, we require that all address information match what is on file with the credit card company. If you are shipping to an address other than your billing address, the shipping address must also be listed with your financial institution as an alternate address. This can easily be done by calling the number on your statement or the back of your credit card. It only takes a few minutes and does not affect your billing information at all. If both addresses are on file with the credit card company, you still may receive an automated email regarding verification of your address.
If this is the case, please give us a call at 480-939-5586 so that we can manually verify your addresses with the credit card company. We do have an address match department that calls banks to verify addresses daily. If your financial institution cannot verify your address with us, you will be contacted via email or phone call. If we are unable to verify your address within 7 days, your order will be canceled.
When will my order ship?
When you shop @ MarineSteering.net you get fast service. We are committed to providing you with the fastest possible shopping experience anywhere! All in-stock items (as noted on each product page) placed before 12:00 pm PDT time will ship out on the same day (orders placed on the weekend will ship on Monday), and you will be emailed a tracking number by the following morning. The only exception to this is during the holiday season, when your order may be shipped the following day due to the large volume of orders we process. If there are any issues with your order, you will be notified immediately and given the proper instructions on how to expedite your order.
MarineSteering is proud to offer a new shipping method, "Economy" for those price conscious shoppers out there! Available to customers in the contiguous 48 United States, a package that is shipped using Economy will be handled either through USPS or UPS. Packages that are routed to you utilizing USPS are the power of the United States Postal Service and are hand delivered by your local postal carrier. Most packages are delivered in 4 to 7 days and a tracking number will be provided tracing your package every step of the way! Since this method uses USPS some packages will be delivered on Saturday. At the discretion of MarineSteering, some orders where Economy shipping has been requested we will use UPS Ground service described below.

MarineSteering also offers shipping services from UPS including: Ground, 3-Day, 2 Day Air, Next Day Air, 3 Canadian methods and 2 International methods. We have used UPS to deliver packages to our costumers since 1999. UPS guarantees their delivery times for 3-Day, 2-Day and Next Day services. UPS does not typically deliver packages on the weekend, but you can call us to place an order if you want Next Day Saturday delivery for an additional cost.
UPS Air Service to US Locations
Available shipping methods to this location include UPS 3 Day Select, UPS Second Day Air and UPS Next Day Air. All air shipments to US locations must be prepaid. Service times will comply with the UPS service selected provided the order is received by 10am PDT on a business day and the item is in stock (as noted on each product page). For example: place your order for a Steering Kit at 3pm EST on Tuesday, select UPS Three Day Select and, provided that the item is in stock, your order will likely be delivered on Friday. Please note, any Next Day Air Shipments placed on Thursday after 10:00 am PDT will not ship until Friday and will not be delivered until Monday. All air shipments from MarineSteering.net will be delivered by 7pm on the scheduled delivery date. Note that your credit card's shipping and billing addresses must be the same in order to ensure prompt shipping. MarineSteering is not responsible for delays that are beyond our control. Delays that are related to UPS errors, weather, or natural disasters will not result in refunds of shipping charges. It is highly recommended that you request shipping that allows for delivery an extra day or two prior to the day that you MUST have your order. This applies to in stock items only. Any item that does not show a stock level in red on the product page is a drop ship direct from Uflex USA and we cannot guarantee same day shipments from Uflex USA.
UPS Service to Canada
Available shipping methods to this location include UPS Ground Canada, UPS Canada Expedited, and UPS Canada Express. All Canadian orders must be prepaid in US Dollars (credit cards are considered prepayment) and will be processed and shipped via UPS. Most ground shipments are delivered to Canadian destinations four to eight business days from date of order. NOTE: Shipping charges to Canada do not include GST, PST, or any other duties or taxes that may apply. You will be responsible for any applicable fees at the time of delivery.
Service to Alaska and Hawaii
Available shipping methods to these locations include UPS Second Day Air, UPS Next Day Air, and US Mail. Orders must be prepaid by credit card at time of shipping.
Service to APO/FPO Addresses
Available shipping method to these locations include US Mail service. All APO/FPO orders must be prepaid in US Dollars (credit cards are considered prepayment). Most shipments are delivered to APO/FPO destinations within 1 to 2 weeks.
Service to other International Addresses
Yes we do ship to international locations. Please see our International Orders Page for complete information.
How much is my shipping?
To calculate estimated shipping charges for a product, follow these easy steps:
Click through the category until you get to the product listing itself.
Once at the product detail a estimated shipping box will appear upper right corner of your screen.
Add the ship to zip code in the box and click go.
In the upper left corner of your screen you will see an estimated shipping cost.
To calculate actual shipping charges for an order, follow these easy steps:
Add your items to the basket.
Click "Checkout" (do not worry, you will not be placing an order).
Login if you have not already done so.
From the next screen you will be able to select your shipping option from a menu on the left side. The page will reload with the updated order total including shipping amount.
What is the free shipping promotion?
We are proud to offer our customers free shipping without rebates at MarineSteeering.net. To qualify for free shipping:
Place your order online; this promotion is not available by telephone.
Purchase at least $750 worth of (IN STOCK) items only from our online store. Please note: In Stock items will be noted in red on the product page. .
Select the Economy Method if you would like FREE shipping.
Select the UPS Ground Method if you would like to pay the shipping fee to have your order quicker.
Now here are the limitations.
Free shipping does not apply to back ordered items.
Available only to shipping destinations in the contiguous 48 United States.
Any Hazmat items, oversized items, Fluids or items weighing more than 20lbs. are excluded.
Any item that is returned to MarineSteering that received free shipping will have the original shipping amount deducted from any credit issued.
If Free Shipping is offered for your Uflex item, you will receive the Free Shipping option at checkout.
What items require special handling?
Certain items require special shipping methods. Any Hazmat items such as paints, resins or ORMD products. Any products that are oversized including engines, boats, that can only be shipped via UPS or LTL ground. They cannot be shipped by air or internationally. Large, heavier items such as Motors, and Boats must be shipped via Common Carrier and will not qualify for the free shipping promotion.
Items shipped via common carrier are shipped directly to the local LTL terminal in your area freight collect. You are responsible for pick-up at that carriers location. However, we can have LTL deliveries made to home addresses at an additional cost.
Does my package require a signature?
With any order over $100, someone must be present at the time of delivery to sign for the package. If your order is under $100 and there is a safe place to leave the package, the carrier may leave the package if no one is available at the time of delivery. This is a decision made by your local delivery person, and although MarineSteering can not take responsibility for packages lost in transit, we can work with you to process a missing package claim with the carrier.

Can I track my package?
As long as you have entered a valid email address you will receive an email letting you know that your package has been shipped and you can view tracking information in your account online. All you need to do is login to your account, then click on "Order Status" Select the order you wish to track and click on the linked tracking number. A new window with real-time tracking information will pop up.
