M67 & M68 House Boat Steering Cable Dual Station

The M67 M68 boat steering cable for houseboats with dual station steering systems. This cable is made for dual station rotary helms. This setup is found on larger boats, including house boats where cable length is up to 40ft. The M67 is the Helm to Helm portion of the cable and the M68 is the main cable that goes from the lower station back to the stern for connection to sterndrive, rudder i.e. for main connection. When replacing this cable it is usually recommended to replace your helms as well. Other options would be to convert to Hydraulic steering if the expense validates itself based upon the age of the vessel.
